The person behind TrueCare
I'm Tania Blackmore, the founder of TrueCare Support Services and the person who provides your support.
I created TrueCare for people who value reliability, practical capability and being treated like an individual. My approach is calm, respectful and straightforward. I listen carefully, learn how you prefer things to be done and help create routines that feel comfortable and manageable.
My professional background has given me strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills. My support experience includes working with older people, people living with disability, mobility challenges and dementia. I am currently completing the practical requirements of my Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing and Disability), with First Aid and CPR certification completed.
Whether we are attending an appointment, preparing meals, organising the home or simply getting out into the community, you receive support directly from me—not an unfamiliar rotation of workers.
“I want support to feel dependable, respectful and easy to have in your life.”
How I can support you
Every arrangement begins with a conversation about what matters to you, what you would like help with and how you prefer to be supported.
Support to stay connected and confidently take part in everyday life, including local outings, shopping, hobbies, appointments and community activities.
Reliable transport and practical assistance getting to medical appointments, errands, shopping and social engagements in a clean, comfortable air-conditioned vehicle.
Help with grocery shopping, meal planning, preparation, cooking and kitchen clean-up, with consideration for your preferences and established dietary requirements.
Practical help with household routines such as light cleaning, laundry, changing bed linen, tidying and keeping everyday spaces comfortable and organised.
Calm, respectful company for conversation, activities and outings, with encouragement that supports confidence, choice and independence.
Help with everyday paperwork, appointments, calendars, lists, household organisation and basic technology when life begins to feel unnecessarily complicated.
Hands-on assistance with packing, unpacking, sorting, decluttering and creating practical, calmer spaces during a move or life transition.
Respectful assistance with agreed personal routines, considered individually and only where the requested support is appropriate to Tania's training, experience and the client's needs.
Support is non-clinical. The suitability of all requested services is discussed before an arrangement begins.
Ask about supportSimple from the beginning
Call, message or send an enquiry. Tell me a little about the person seeking support, the type of help required, the location and preferred days or times.
Where appropriate, we arrange an introductory conversation or meeting. We discuss routines, goals, preferences, safety, transport and the practical details of the arrangement.
If the fit is right, we confirm the services, schedule, rate, payment arrangements and relevant documentation before support begins.
Support is delivered personally by Tania. As trust develops, routines can be refined so each visit becomes familiar, efficient and genuinely useful.
No call centres. No rotating roster. You know who you are speaking with and who will provide your support.
TrueCare supports private clients and may support suitable self-managed or plan-managed NDIS participants. Every enquiry is considered individually to ensure the requested support, location and schedule are a good fit.
Your preferences, privacy and right to make your own choices are respected.
Clear arrangements, dependable communication and support that is delivered as agreed.
Support should strengthen your confidence and control—not take either away.
Yes. TrueCare is founder-led and Tania personally provides the support. This gives clients continuity and a familiar person who understands their preferences and routines.
TrueCare operates as an independent support service and is not presented as an NDIS-registered provider. Suitable self-managed and plan-managed participants may be able to use their funding, subject to their individual plan and payment arrangements.
TrueCare is based in Surfers Paradise and services suitable locations across the Gold Coast. Travel time, distance and the length of the support booking are considered when accepting an enquiry.
Support may include community access, appointments and transport, shopping, food preparation, light household assistance, companionship, everyday administration, organisation, packing and agreed personal routines. Please ask if you have a specific requirement.
Yes. Tania holds a clean driver licence and uses a clean, comfortable air-conditioned vehicle. Transport requirements and any associated costs are agreed before support begins.
